"Clang! Clang!" The sound of metal on metal reverberated off the rocks all around Asrial. "You're good with a sword!" He told his sparring partner. "Thanks! Yer' not bad wit' a sword eider!" his sparring partner replied in his light accent. "Clang! Snap!" went Asrials longsword as it unexpectedly snapped in two. "Dang!" he yelled after it snapped. Asrial picked up the other piece and put both pieces into his sheath. "Thanks for the practice, but I guess with no sword I can't practice. I'm gonna head over to Shalwedtown to get it fixed." Asrial told his partner "Aak" His partner said, saying goodbye. "May we meet ageen someday." They shook hands and went their separate ways. "Come on Farren!" Asrial yelled at Farren, his Grey fox who had dug a small pit for her to conserve warmth in. Asrial hadn't noticed how cold it was in the cold arctic climate since he was dancing around for the past hour. He pulled his very dark green cloak tighter around him and pulled the hood over his pure black hair. He swished his fluffy red tail as fast as he could to keep it warm. Rarely did Farren whimper, but it was to cold for her that day. So Asrial picked her up and kept her in the warmth of his cloak the rest of the way. When they arrived at the city gates, the first thing that Asrial noticed was that there were a lot of Gnomes. Small creatures, like dwarfs but not as hairy. As he stood under the giant gate, he heard a far off riot and many other city sounds. Then someone bumped into him "Hey! Watch it!" Asrial yelled.

His business was his business and, as far as Frey was concerned, not anybody else's. Still, when he happened to absent-mindedly stumble into another person because of his stupid curse, he figured that they had a right to have it become their business, too. He sighed and staggered to his feet, taking care to dust himself off. After a quick scrutiny of his clothes, a mental check that everything was still in order, he finally turned his attention to the person he'd walked into.
At first, he did not reply. He wanted to give the guy some time to calm down. He simply fixed Asrial with a pair of silver, unrevealing eyes and waited. Then he spoke. "I'm sorry. Were you in a hurry to get someplace?" he asked innocently, raising a brow. Come to think of it, it was as much this guy's fault as his own. He didn't mention that.
"Just a note, yelling can't be very good for the ears," he commented wryly. An amused smile sat on his face, as if he found this all very amusing. Still, he wasn't the type to provoke needlessly. As such, he kept future choice words to himself. It couldn't hurt to gauge another's temper, especially if their anger was directed toward you.

Looking up, Asrial saw the man he had bumped into. He looked him up and down and controlling his anger, said. "Well, not really, I was just sparring about a half mile away when my sword broke. So that's why I'm here. Even though I don't like citys much." He added the last bit with almost a sniffle. But then, Farren couldn't stand it and jumped out of Asrials cloak and started smelling the man. "This is Farren, my pet fox. And I'm Asrial, Asrial Redleaf." As he finished up the last sentence, Asrial noticed that this man was a fox. Just like him. "Well, I'm gonna go fix my sword now, would you like to accompany me?" Asrial added, his fury subsiding.
